For the Cumberland River...including Celina, OLD HICKORY DAM INFLOW FORECASTS, Penitentiary Branch, Carthage, Hunters Point, Edenwold, Hermitage, Pennington Bend, Omohundro Water Plant, Nashville, Bordeaux, Briley Pkwy At Cockrill Bend, Ashland City, Clarksville, Dover...elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Cumberland River at Omohundro Water Plant. * WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Low lying areas along both sides of the river are inundated, including portions of Shelby Bottoms Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 35.2 feet and rising. - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location. - Action stage is 35.0 feet. - Flood stage is 41.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
