For the Attoyac Bayou...including Chireno...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Attoyac Bayou near Chireno. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect flooded paths and secondary roadways. Move livestock and equipment to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 11.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 17.0 feet early Wednesday afternoon. Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
