DESCRIPTION: ...The National Weather Service in Nashville TN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Tennessee... Buffalo River Near Lobelville affecting Perry County. For the Buffalo River...including Lobelville...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Buffalo River near Lobelville. * WHEN...From late tonight to late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding continues to impact agricultural land and properties along the river including Dailey Loop, Caruthers Trace Lane, Lost Creek Rd near Gilmer Bridge Rd, and portions of the Buffalo River Country Club. Water covers Old State Hwy 13 south of School House Rd and Gilmer Bridge Rd Lost Creek Rd which are impassable. Water begins to impact waterfront properties off E 8th Ave in Leeper Bottom and approaches Cuba Landing Rd and Squeeze Bottom Rd. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.9 feet and rising. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM CDT Thursday was 14.9 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 17.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning to 13.3 feet Saturday evening. It will rise above flood stage late Saturday evening to 16.5 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage again Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

A wall cloud forms underneath the base of a cumulonimbus cloud, and can be a hotbed for deadly tornadoes.

Wall clouds are formed by air flowing into the cumulonimbus clouds, which can result in the wall cloud descending from the base of the cumulonimbus cloud, or rising fractus clouds which join to the base of the storm cloud as the wall cloud takes shape.

Wall clouds can be very large, and in the Northern Hemisphere they generally form at the southern edge of cumulonimbus clouds.

Altostratus clouds form at mid to high-level altitudes (between 2 and 7 km) and are created by a warm, stable air mass which causes water vapor to condense as it rise through the atmosphere. Usually altostratus clouds are featureless sheets characterized by a uniform color.

In some cases, wind punching through the cloud formation may give it a waved appearance, called altostratus undulatus. Altostratus clouds are commonly seen with other cloud formations accompanying them.
