Cumberland River At Dover affecting Stewart County. Red River At Port Royal affecting Robertson and Montgomery Counties. For the Cumberland River...including Clarksville, Dover...Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Red River...including Port Royal...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Red River at Port Royal. * WHEN...From this evening to late Tuesday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.1 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening to 39.4 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall Saturday evening. It will rise to 45.1 feet Sunday evening. Cumulus clouds are fluffy and textured with rounded tops, and
may have flat bottoms. The border of a cumulus cloud
is clearly defined, and can have the appearance of cotton or cauliflower.
Cumulus clouds form at low altitudes (rarely above 2 km) but can grow very tall,
becoming cumulus congestus and possibly the even taller cumulonimbus clouds.
When cumulus clouds become taller, they have a greater chance of producing precipitation.
